I took the day off so I could menstruate in peace. Slept in and played some Don't Starve, which I am slooooowly getting better at. Or I got a random good build.

I have a political thought:

I will vote for him if he's the nominee, but I really thought we were done talking about Bernie and I kind of liked it that way. It would be cool to have the first Jewish president, but I would ALSO like a president who isn't an old white man.

EDIT: is Joe Biden fucking running??? Same thoughts on Biden. Go away.

But at the end of the day I am Anybody But Trump 2020.

Anyway. It's supposed to rain all weekend so I am looking forward to being a lump for three days. I bought YET MORE yarn on Monday so I should work on turning it into things.

Yay yarn! What sort did you get?

It's this 1-ply laceweight, alpaca I think, doorway is Vesuvio. It's a brown-gold variegated and is crocheting up nicely into something that looks bark or snakeskin.

Oh! I also got a light coral that is the same as some intense cobalt blue that I already had. Not sure what I'm going to make with them tho. Also 1-ply laceweight.

I'm aiming for a sweater, but I'll see how much yarn I have left when I'm done making the large rectangle part. Might be a short-sleeve or a vest kind of thing. Luckily current styles are all about the weird shapes so I feel like that ups my chance of ending up with something wearable.
